Sculpture/Installation > Core Markers

This installation involves two dozen sculptural trail markers made from forest materials and discarded plastic items found in the woods. These markers are strategically placed by the side of the pathways like a series of core samples showing sediment layers beneath the forest floor.

'Core Markers' was conceptualized and actualized during the 2020 artist residency at Plyspace with my collaboration partner Jeff Schofield.
