Biophliac's Seat

Biophiliac's Seat is an installation containing a horizontal stump that is hollowed out with a human fetus projected from the inside out and onto a wall. To the left of the stump are 12 enlarged polaroid photographs that are lit at the base of the stump or fallen tree in the image, from behind. The stump is designed to become a seat so that when you sit on it the center arm of the stump rests to meet your stomach.
